U-M Football Fan Day Slated for Saturday

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan football program will hold its annual Fan Day on Saturday, Aug. 25, at Michigan Stadium. The autograph session and opportunity to meet the 2007 team will run from 9:30 to 11 a.m. EDT.

The event is free and open to the public. All gates at the Big House will open at 8:30 a.m. In order to expedite the autograph process and accommodate as many fans as possible, players and head coach Lloyd Carr will sign one autograph per person.

Carr will sign autographs on the Mortenson Plaza located above the Junge Champions Center. Carr's line will be accessible from the concourse and will wind along the west side of Crisler Arena behind the M-Den location adjacent to the facility. The line for Carr's autograph will be closed once it reaches Gate 2.

Michigan players will be signing autographs along the north and south concourses at the concession stands. The offensive players will be located along the north side of the Big House between sections 29 and 38, with the defensive players residing on the south side between sections 8 and 18. Michigan's assistant coaching staff and the freshman players will be on the stadium turf.

U-M cannot guarantee fans that they will be able to acquire every autograph they desire so please use the allotted time wisely.

With the possibility of inclement weather forecast for Saturday, a decision will be made by 7:30 a.m. whether to cancel the event or not. Please check mgoblue.com for updates.
